This is where I sew. Yes, you're looking at three of my four sewing machines. It's actually one serger, one electronic sewing machine and one overlock. My back-up conventional machine is out of view on the bookshelf.

I taught myself to sew doll clothes by hand as a young child, and later taught myself to sew full size, wearable clothes using a sewing machine. I have enjoyed sewing on and off for the past twenty-one years, on more so than off. I have two teenage sons for whom I used to sew flannel pjs and some home dec. I finally have a little girl to sew for, thanks to my three-year old niece. Perhaps someday I can pass my love of sewing and all things crafty to her.
